Facebook understands you are running a business and a Facebook page, so they thankfully have a nifty little feature that allows you to plan your posts for the week which will then post automatically at the time and date you have set. One of the benefits for you is that you can write your posts when you are less busy knowing that they will be posted at a time you have chosen to impact your Facebook visitors.

It’s really simple to do, and with running a business and a Facebook page, the time saving benefit is a real lifesaver!

Take the time to consider any promotions you may have planned during the upcoming week or any new products that you may be introducing.

When you load your business page and click ‘Write a post’ it will load the option to write your post, add photos, videos and emojis if you would like. When your post is finished rather than clicking ‘Share now’ click the drop-down arrow displayed and it will load your option to schedule a post. Then simply select schedule and it will load another information box. It’s at this point that you can choose your date and time for your post to go live.

Once you have chosen your date and time, click schedule.

The information box will disappear but don’t worry. If you decide you would like to go back and change it you can. If you go back to your business page, underneath where you can create a post, it will now display an option to see your scheduled posts. Simply click on the ‘See post’ link and it will take you to your scheduled posts.

It’s as simple as that. A powerful tool that makes the best use of your time and helps you promote your goods and services at the right time in the right circumstances. And remember, use #ShopDarvel in your business posts to help keep people in the community in the loop!
