The Museum’s main themes are the LACE INDUSTRY and SIR ALEXANDER FLEMING, discoverer of penicillin, but it also contains much more information and many photographs of Darvel’s past and present history.
East Ayrshire Council has kindly given Darvel free use of the former “rent office”, and already several hundred people, from far and wide as well locals, have signed the visitors’ book in the Museum.
Individual or party visits can be organised by contacting Frank Donnelly on 01560-320420, or just turn up at the door. Why not try a visit?
